Meghna Rickabaugh Rich

Meghna Rickabaugh Rich (also known as Meghna Rich) is a Portland, Oregon-based commercial photographer and media producer whose work spans music and entertainment photography, product photography, sports photography, and documentary work. She is the 2024 Global RE@CH Media Festival Judges’ Selection Winner in Photography for her image “Torii Gate” — a photograph of Itsukushima Shrine in Hiroshima, Japan, taken during one of her two Japan trips in connection with her Japanese immersion education.

Meghna began photographing seriously in 2021, developing her craft through self-directed experimentation without formal coursework. By her junior year of high school she was shooting Grant High School’s dances, sports teams, and student portraits professionally.

Professional Practice

In 2025 she launched an independent portrait business, completing 16 paid shoots — 14 senior portrait sessions, 1 prom shoot, and 1 graduation shoot. Simultaneously she maintained ongoing product photography work under the direction of Saskia Thomson, a well-regarded Portland photographer and post-production specialist.

Oregon Humane Society — volunteer, animal photographer, social media content creator, paid customer representative (summer 2026).
