Meghna Rickabaugh Rich is a Portland-based commercial photographer and the 2024 Global RE@CH Media Festival Judges’ Selection Winner in Photography for her image “Torii Gate,” taken in Hiroshima, Japan. Her work spans music and entertainment photography, product photography, sports, and documentary. Before starting college she built an independent portrait business, shot for Oregon Humane Society’s social media and website, and completed product photography under the direction of Portland photographer Saskia Thomson. A graduate of the Richmond Japanese Immersion Program with advanced Japanese language skills, she is currently enrolled at Occidental College in Los Angeles, studying Media Arts and Culture.
